I had the same thought when I read that. I just assumed Jason was high on Crystal Meth (again) and let it slide.

LOL - like I said, it could just be a coincidence, and apparently, is. :)

I would still call them my favourite band ever, but I literally don't think I've listened to them for about 6 months. WTF is that about?!

There are definitely bands I love, that I don't listen to with great frequency. Primordial is a perfect example of this. I probably only spin their discs ever few months. But every time I listen, I love what I hear.

I has grew tired of Weiland and didn't think it had aged well. A recent spin made me change my mind pretty quickly.

Last night my 5 year old son walked up to me and, handing me a cd, asked if we could listen to it. It was D.R.I.'s Dealing With It. It had been a looong time since I heard that and my god was it great!!! With the exception of a promo I received today, I've been listening to those Dirty Rotten Imbeciles all damn day. Fuck I love the classics.

Awesome. And the kid is being right properly indoctrinated too, with catchy as hell crossover thrash goodness.

I shit you not...I actually got a little choked up at one point. He started jumping around just as I fell prey to a spasm of air guitar. We were thrashing together and I was overcome with pride.

Later that night he was cleaning his room before bed and, as I walked by, I heard "I lose, you win, I lose, you win...". :headbang:

How about some non-Crossover? That'd be great. Got any fucking Discharge to throw on? Amebix?

    On a related note:

Picked up Napalm Death "Scum" 20th Anniversary Edition. The remastering is somewhat subtle compared to how it usually gets handled, but it helps immensely for the digital format.

    Ruleage.
