    And I'm not talkin' about the KD Lang version either. She can sing it pretty well, but I just don't like it as much as the original.

    MUCH APPRECIATION for Cave In's new ep. Ton of shit on that, and it was only $5.

    6 audio tracks
    and then extra computer stuff:
    videos: Jupiter video, and 2 videos live in Spain
    audio: 8-track demos of 2 songs on ep, 4-trk demo of 1 other song on ep
    photos (not many) etc.

    AWESOME.

    I am listening to Minus The Bear, the new one's pretty awesome. Also, Confessor's latest is getting a lot of spins, I like it more than Condemned.

    I haven't heard the new one but I remember Condemned being like the Bible for me as a kid.

    Is Menos El Oso the newest one or is their something newer? I liked that one.

    That's the Bear one I'm listening to. Wonderful tapped harmony guitars and stuff. Condemned is one of my favourite records, so that should tell you how good the new one is. Here's the deal: they toned down the insanetech so theoretically nobody in the band is counting while playing, and usually when a tech band loses that edge they become pretty boring (to me), but Confessor replaced the wizardry with very well-written and resonant doom. I wholeheartedly endorse.

    There's always Loincloth for the old Confessor 'what the hell is going on?' vibe.

    I've been listening to so much Confessor lately I decided to make a little sideproject (named Solipsist. Yeah, I know...) just so I can copy the style.

    What are Taint?

    Also I just found out Quicksand are awesome.
