I think the P.C. phrase is, "Understated" ;)

I'm watching Mythbusters while posting (exploding laval lamp edition) but at work we had a thorough mix of Dream Theater, Ark and Iron Maiden playing.

    And Tom Waits :hehe:

Today was the Clash and Ramones all day at work. It's taking a while, but my coworkers tolerances for non-top-40 music is increasing! :)

Never heard about them before, i listened to Blackfield clips on their site and they are really cool, even if some of the vocals remind me "oasis" and i hate them :heh: but it is a personal feeling, when i overcome it , it sounded good.

Is the second album similar with Blackfield's atmospheres ?

    This is breaking news
It appears air force one was shot down
Somewhere over the Middle East this morning
By a sleeper cell of rouge terrorists, firing a stinger missile
The pilot and all passengers are unaccounted for
The presidents whereabouts are presently unknown
    And he is presumed missing
The vice president, secretary of state
And principles of the military are assembling
Our nation stands at DEFCON 3

Megadeth - Blackmail The Universe !!!!

Although Blackfield's music certainly has a melancholic atmosphere, don't be afraid of the "Oasis syndrome" with whining vocals ;)

well that's good, i often listen to soft music, after all i'm the only "unplugged flute playing spirit" in my band, it is needed, music must be accorded to our actual state of mind to be perfectly assimilated , otherwise it is only "heard" :p

What do you do! There seems to be far to much good music out there but not enough time to devote to each album. Currently loving:

Pyramaze: Legend of the Bone Carver
    Threshold: Subsurface
    Firewind: Allegiance
    Dreamscape: Revoiced
    Opeth: the lot

Perhaps if I give up my job, family and friends?????????????????? :headbang:

Why can't I buy Mevyn's new album on Play.com or Amazon.uk? Not happy and feel like I am missing out
