I'll probably pick "Advent" over just about anything. "Mist" is real good too, but I liked "Advent" from first listen and have to get a fix of that and the whole album quite often.

in the mist she was so much more epic, and some of the changes just make you gasp as you cream your pants, this is possibly my fave song, it is typical of how opeth make me feel unlike any other band.

In Mist... no contest. Better riffs, better buildups and better climax.

Advent, and mainly because of that first riff. Love it. Mist is really good too, but I've always been a big fan of Advent, and Morningrise in general. Orchid took a few listens.

only "black rose immortal" can be better than "in mist she was standing" when you compared "morningrise" and "orchid"..mist is better than the other "morningrise" tracks..

Gotta go with Advent...ITMSWS just doesn't have many memorable parts for me for some reason...Advent might be my favorite Opeth album opener besides The Moor
