Hey guys - got some videos from Soundwave Brisbane on Saturday up on my Youtube Channel if you are interested:

    http://www.youtube.com/user/dallash71

I'm not a Slayer fan so NFI what the name is of the song of theirs I got - if you know, let me know!

And the sound on the bit of Raining Blood I recorded is shit - caught that on my point-and-shoot. The rest are from a dedicated video camera so the sound is much better.

Nice work metabolising the cobra venom. I've never seen anything like that.

Very well done indeed and great to see them kick off with Journey. 20 years ago no one could care less about Journey and you'd be lynched if you admitted being a fan.

The first 2 I-V-VI-IV songs that pop into my head are Boston's 'More Than A Feeling' and Skid Row's 'I Remember You'

I think Scrubs and The Sopranos also contributed to the resurrection of "Don't Stop Believin" and Perry & Cain are laughing all the way to bank!

More people listening to Journey is a good thing!

I still chuckle when on the first season of Popstars (probably late 90's that spawned Bardot). They were sitting in a board room with record company executives trying to brainstorm band names on a whiteboard.

One of the potential names on the whiteboard was Journey. Keep in mind the record label was Sony/Columbia, the same label that Journey was signed to for 20 years and sold them millions of albums.....IDIOTS!

I could understand a bunch of teenage girls who hadn't heard of Journey, but record company guys in their 40's?

In 1990, yeah I guess so but in the mid to late 80's it was acceptable they were in that group of bands like Night Ranger, Boston, Kansas, Asia, Styx, etc. Reasonably well known in the USA but they weren't exactly Metal of choice for most Metallers I knew, they were always on the perimeter of 80's Rock and in the 80's most Metal bands of the time are what we now almost call Rock so they were even softer.

I don't know how many people here played Mario as a kid (though this isn't the original), but my heart still skips a beat each time I think this person is going to die.

    World's worst mario player..
