    HAHAHAHA!!

My wife and I are booked on 70,000 tons :) All paid up - got one of the Junior Suites, flights paid for, and staying a week or so extra to check out maybe Universal Studios or Disneyworld.

The lineup is great so far - I'm hoping for maybe some more german bands (edguy, blind guardian, helloween, gamma ray) or Kamelot to be added to the list. Often, where there is Epica, Kamelot are not far away so I'm hopeful on that one :D

I've been running some rough figures... flights can go anywhere from 2k to 2.5 (depending on who you fly with). Tickets for the show are $1500 max (depending on the room you get, the amount of people you share with etc etc)

So I think 5k would make for a fairly comfortable trip... all food / drinks (non-alcoholic) are covered in the ticket cost

Anyone know the running times for Alestorm? It would be much appreciated as the Gaelic Club don't like answering their phone!

Alestorm was fantastic. Turnout in Melbourne was basically a sellout at the Corner Hotel. Great atmosphere. Lots of captain jacks and busty wenches in attendance.

Claim the Throne were hilarious. Unfortunately I missed Be'lakor. :(

Anyone see the lineup for the Melbourne Cup eve concert??

    PETER GABRIEL
    Chicago
    America
    Peter Frampton
    Daryl Braithwaite
    Kate Ceberano
    Ross Wilson
    Joe Camillleri
    Stephen Cummings
    Deborah Conway
    Danielle Spencer

Okay, mostly oldies and stuff but jeebus that is impressive - I'd go just for Peter Gabriel!
