2013 is crazy for tours. Currently my itinerary is this:

    2013
    Jan 4 Nightwish - Brisbane
    Jan 13 Sabaton - Melbourne
    Jan 14 Nightwish/Sabaton - Melbourne
    Jan 20 Alestorm - Brisbane
    Jan 27 Flotsam & Jetsam/Helstar - Miami (USA)
Jan 28 70000 Tons of Metal - Miami (USA)
    Mar 17 Ensiferum - Brisbane
    Apr 17 Epica - Brisbane
    Apr 19 Epica - Sydney
    May 23 Eluveitie - Brisbane

And not to mention the other gigs that I'd like to go to if money was not an issue - Hypocrisy, Deep Purple/Journey, Black Sabbath, Extreme.....

Oh, and there is a VERY solid rumour that KREATOR will be here in 2013.

I'm currently reading My Appetite For Destruction by Steven Adler, I'm not a GnR fan but it's a great read.

Axl was an arsehole even before they were famous.

Oh yeah, I saw Adler's Appetite play Sunset Strip music festival, these guys I'd see again anytime. They did GnR songs better than Slash's band, which I saw earlier that day.

Personally, I think the songs sound better without Axl.

Fuck, even though I was a GnR fan back in the day, I'd rather just see ZZ Top do a full gig :O

I really enjoyed seeing Sabaton on Friday night, who were supporting Nightwish. I think I was more looking forward to seeing them than I was Nightwish.

They are playing in Melbourne tonight if anyone from Melbourne didn't know they were here and are interested (and if there are still tickets available). :)

    And from Loud Online:

"Promoter" Javi of Oceanic Sharks has made no comment about Tägtgren's allegations, but given the way he handled the Warbringer tour last year, this turn of events is none too surprising.

What's the go with people like this?!

No idea what his band's like, but I'd like to see him anyway! I'm a big fan of The Young Ones.

Winmar - the band play traditional irish folk instruments, doing covers of punk stuff from the 70s/80s. Not a 'joke' thing - they play in a serious fashion.

Troy is incredibly talented and I believe the other band members are not too shabby also.

I think it will make a pretty entertaining night out.
