Pretty self explanatory.
I think Sodom take the cake. They managed to create some great material including Agent Orange, In the Sign of Evil, M-16 and the lesser known, Tapping the Vein. My favorite album by them is Tapping the Vein, but I feel like Code Red wasn't too bad either.
Early Sodom picture. Tom is the one with the God-awful bowl cut
I prefer Necronomicon.
theyre close, but nothing beats sodom
in the sign of evil and tapping the vein are masterpieces
Eh, I'm with you on In The Sign Of Evil, but Tapping The Vein not so much.
Sodom has always been the one for me, although both Kreator and Necronomicon are very near and dear to my heart as well. There's something about Sodom, between the guitars, Tommy's vocals... it's just so gallingly visceral and razor sharp, like the full might of Germany is marching against you all at once.
I love all three but Kreator will always be my favorite of all time. Pleasure to Kill, Extreme Aggression and Coma of Souls are so great. But Destruction and Sodom are both a close second.
Destruction. For some reason I listen to them more than either Kreator or Sodom.
Sodom, Kreator comes second.
Necronomicon is great
...They are a bit like Destructions kid brother
I voted Kreator by the way.
I want to say early Witching Metal era Sodom, but then you have Infernfal Overkill...
Sodom and Destruction were at first black metal bands by my ears, but whatever...the opening growl of "Blasphemer" makes me vote Sodom.
Indeed. The first EP and album were very blackened thrash, deeply Venom infused.
Curiously (since I'm a Venom fan), after some time I got rid of them, couldn't hacked it anymore and only kept "Persecution Mania" and "Agent Orange".
'Blasphemer' is a funny song, still dig it.
That's crazy, their earliest material is Godly.
I love em all but Kreator is my fave.. Plus their last two almbums are still as good as ever!
Kreator, closely followed by Sodom, with Destruction a distant third, in my opinion of course.
I like Destruction more than the other bands here.
sodom, but i love destruction as well, however, sodom are "closer to my heart" to say so
Sodom, before Kreator but only because of Kreator's "experimental years". Tankard before Destruction.
