I know, that's invoking the sacred, but I think it's a valid comparo. They share the pop influences with the heavy grooving riffage. It's similar but also totally different.

Single (more poppy than the rest of the album, good but not truly representative)

Good call. To me it's a lot closer to Chaos Divine with some Shattered Skies thrown in. Good stuff, and I generally dislike growlies.

The ManOfMuchMetal described them as a mix of Voyager and Soilwork, which I can dig. I'd agree with the Shattered Skies comparison as well.

This is good! Not hearing the Voyager though. Sounds like a mix of Shattered Skies, Chaos Divine, and Empire to me.

Very nice indeed. I like this. Tell me - how much of the disc is growly?

    It's probably 80/20 or 70/30 cleans/growls.

It gives off a prog vibe but it gives on an even bigger early 2000s alternative/hard rock vibe a la Flaw, Sevendust etc

    That means I approve.

yeah. I've really been digging this album since I found it. It really does put me in that almost-nu-metal vibe but with just enough prog. It makes it really catchy and accessible.
