New Alkaloid album, too. That should rule. I hope Sulphur Aeon puts out a new one too, but if they release the same year as Alkaloid it'll fuck with my AOTY like it did last year!

New Fear Factory supposedly, too. And like every year, I'll bow my atheist head and hope for (not pray for) a new Nokturnal Mortum record. Only been 8 years...

I hope for a new Tribulation and Hypocrisy, but I guess both might come early 2018.

Ghost will release their new album in the fall.
Paradise Lost is supposedly working on a new album, hopefully released next fall.
Decapitated is in the studio now and Vogg said they are looking for a release by spring, AWESOME! I'm one of the few who loves Blood Mantra.
Anathema is working on a new album, hopefully released next year! Keeping expectations low for this one.

I loved Blood Mantra as well. "Nest" is a killer track.

I really hope that the next Anathema record is better than Distant Satellites and on par with Weather Systems and the albums before it.

I agree with everything, Decapitated is one of the few bands I still havent seen live that I really really want to see.
Distant Satellites was a disappointment but some of the songs was good live, Cardoso on drums is a big improvement.

it's better than most of the shit hipster publications praise honestly, including that bowie album everyone's been jerking over just 'cause he croaked. beyonce's definitely at the creative and emotionally charged end of the plastic pop spectrum, whatever that's worth.

She's not very creative musically, just performance wise which lets face it, they all are.

i'd say something like this is pretty creative, although again i'd add the qualifier 'for plastic pop music'. this is the only one i've heard that i've particularly liked though so maybe it's an exception.

pretty 'kin epic if you ask me. i realise on this board i'm preaching to... whatever the opposite of the choir is, heh. maybe i should tag the greys or something.
