I kinda like The Caitiff Choir. Lots of brutal stuff there that right up with any disc from say, Cannibal Corpse or the likes.

I highly enjoyed The Caitiff Choir over sirens. That new vocalist is the death of me and I can't even listen to a full song. Maybe I'm just being to clingy to the old stuff but The Radiance was my favorite song for like a year straight.

Are you kidding? "The Radiance" is the most similar song to really anything off Sirens...

Since we have a small little community of metalcore fans, I'll refrain from making a separate thread.

List your top 10 metalcore albums:

    7 Angels 7 Plagues - Jhazmyne's Lullaby
    Starkweather - Into the Wire
    Starkweather - Croatoan
    Maroon - When Worlds Collide
Faust Again - Hope Against Hope
    Raunchy - Death Pop Romance
Parkway Drive - Killing with a Smile
Fear My Thoughts - The Great Collapse
Heaven Shall Burn - Deaf to our Prayers
    The Concubine - Abaddon

...and V5, check out In Twilight's Embrace for good Polish-core.

No order and I'm counting deathcore too:

Faust Again - Hope Against Hope
Despised Icon - The Healing Process
    Raunchy - Death Pop Romance
Heaven Shall Burn - Deaf To Our Prayers
    Maroon -When Worlds Collide
It Dies Today - The Caitiff Choir (despite being super-inconsistent :p)
    The Concubine - Abaddon
As We Fight - Midnight Tornado
Parkway Drive - Horizons (I find KWAS a little too boring sometimes :()
Narziss - Solang Das Herz Schlägt

    Probably would change next week.

They have an EP called Doom that their most famous song Knee Deep comes off of. It sounds nothing like Genesis and is unbelievably better as well.

I'm actually really liking that list, except for Norma Jean. I'm surprised you'd take The Red Chord's Prey For Eyes over Fused Together In Revolving Doors as well.

    Now...best breakdowns! :p

Maroon - Wake Up In Hell
    Maroon - The World's Havoc
Maroon - Confessions of the Heretic (let's face it, Maroon has the best breakdowns)
Neaera - Let the Tempest Come
    7 Angels 7 Plagues - Someday
Parkway Drive - Boneyard (but I guess the whole song is pretty breakdown-based)

Someone recommended The Sorrow. Pretty good stuff actually, especially if you already like KSE and Unearth.

Just search "mathcore" on google/wiki and you should find a list.

Car Bomb is that type of Metalcore, and I need to get some of their stuff. I think the band Textures is Mathcore, Beneath The Massacre, Sikth, and thats all I can think of right now.

Textures is prog metal. They sound like a combination of old Andromeda (Extension of the Wish and II=I era anyway) and Meshuggah. Drawing Circles is a fucking amazing album (and the art is my current background).

Beneath The Massacre are technical deathcore, and Mechanics of Dysfunction is epically EMOTIONLESS. It's fun but, FUCK there is no feeling in that album.
