The bosses have been really cool so far but I wish there were about 2 more save points than I've found.

I would have liked it to be less linear, with that whole "go here, do this. now go here and do this" type of gameplay. But that's just griping, any 2d Metroid game is going to be god.

Ohhh, Metroid Prime was my favorite game of last year. I played the unholy shit out of that game. More save points... maybe it was kind of far apart when I first played it, but the second time through it wasn't a problem. I think it was definitely the best conversion from 2d to 3d yet.

honestly I was expecting a bit more graphically. I really dislike console FPS games in general too, so the fact that I'm enjoying this one really says a lot!

    Metroid Prime was indeed incredible.

I'm just amazed they were able to pull off a Metroid game in 3D.

Very impressive stuff. I thought the graphics were AWESOME too.

I agree about the linear Metroid Fusion comment, although I still liked the game a lot.

    yeah. :D

That's one thing I really liked about the game. There was no spot where you could say "okay, this is a good spot to stop and take a break."

Uh! I'm kinda stunned that you guys all know it :) I like your forum after all :)
Here it's not quite popular, but I'm totally Nintendo addicted, and I love Metroid.
By the way, we (Europeans) got a more difficult version of Metroid Prime than you guys (USA) and that's cool. The more challenging it is, the better.
anyone got the Phazon suit yet??? Fucking awesome!!!!!

i'm not sure. however, it's likely a result of this nasty technical issue more than anything else.

    Super Metroid is the best.

I don't think the Metroid Prime version for Europe could be harder, especially since the American version has a hard mode.

The space pirates are bitches!!! Well, that is until you get some neat weapons later in the game :heh: I can beat em with only one shot now
Luminous: yes it IS harder, that's officially said by Nintendo. It was somewhere on cube-europe.com. Too lazy to go and check.
And for the side scrollers....Well I suck donkeyballs when it comes to 2D shooters.
