My shot at mixing The Lost Element

    Here's my shot at mixing Dandelium - The Lost Element ..
    I used the original strings, X50 on guitars, Addictive drums with kick/snare replaced..

    I have some trouble getting the low end right.. I'm mixing with headphones so I don't know how the levels are.. Anyway, it's sounds decent to me :saint:

    sinquestsound, your drum tone is awesome, but the guitars are muddy a little to me.
    onqel, did you use Sturgis' snare? :)

    Nikolas: No I used some snare samples from a samplecollection Behindert posted here a while a go, I've done some post processing though :p

    Don´t want to hijack this thread, but here´s my version of this tune. I fucking love this arrangement to hell and back. I added some additional orchestration as well. It´s a little bit pumping though...



    @Erik: great to see you again... One question: you once posted soloed processed guitars for this song. Just remember an awesome tone. Think you used X30 and s-preshigh. Any chance for a reupp? Would love to compare it to mine;)
