    Hi,
I need a favour from Mesa 4x12 OS users.

What's the exact size (in cm or mm) of this frame?
If anyone could do the exact measurements I'll be glad :)

    Thanks

I can all but guarantee it's 3/4" plywood right there.

It does look bigger than 3/4", but I can't be sure. The casters are 3", if that helps at all. I won't get to my cab for another 2 days if you needed a real measurement.

Their website says they use anywhere from 9-14 ply marine grade baltic birch plywood. If that helps at all. I always thought they were made of all 3/4" birch.

The tolex Mesa uses is really beefy; one layer on each side like that will increase the depth by almost 1/16th of an inch so it'll definitely look bigger as a finished product.

It is difficult to measure precisely because of the rounded edge, but this distance about 30 millimeters

Ok yesterday a friend of mine measured the "frame" for me..... it's 35mm, also with a very thick tolex it's not 19mm (3/4").
Now the question is....are al the 4 panels 35mm (or 33 without tolex) thick or they are 35mm only externally? The 90% of the cabs are way thicker on the front frame but it's because there are pieces of wood all around (only for the look), like marshall or orange, but on the back you can see the real thickness (usually 19mm)....don't know if it's the same for Mesa...
