so, uuh, anyone hear it yet?
Can't wait for this album!
Hey, been meaning to ask--have you heard all 4 of the recent I Hate releases or just TGOS? I just got 'em and so far all look to kick ass.
I have 3/4...dont have Burning Saviours yet.
How about ABYSMAL GRIEF? I've just got a hunch that I might like them, but some info would be nice in case you've come across them
Care to elaborate?
Just not my thing, lol. You might like it though...I dunno. It's like Gothy, Horror-esque, let's try to be really eerie/creepy music.
edit: just to note, I have not heard all of it.
some of these songs (out of the shadows, the legacy) are rather un-maiden. but awesome
I like it. I've only spun it twice, but it may be their best work since "Seventh Son". In fairness, since I haven't really been impressed with any of their work after that disc.
hmm thats what a friend told me. But I will wait until it is released to give it a listen
Not impressed after one listening. And I'm the biggest maiden fan here.
I enjoy it immensely.
and it's released today
to have an album leak only ONE day before street date is a bit of an accomplishment nowadays
you know, the maiden album this reminds me of the most is actually "the x factor" except not as overtly fucking dark... makes sense, i guess, what with all the war themes
especially "for the greater good of god" is like "sign of the cross" pt. II and that's a GOOD thing people
Yeah, I agree. The obvious thing on this album is that there's no obvious catchy hooks/melodies which I suppose makes it a little 'dark'.
Only been a couple of listens and I like it, but nothing has blown me away as of yet. Certainly nothing as significant as the first time I heard "Paschendale" or "Montsegur".
...but there is a super duper edition with making of DVD.
