Sorry but thats just awful. Paradise Lost IS ICON, SHADES OF GOD, GOTHIC......anything after that is just making money and should be burned.

Draconian Times and Icon are PL's best albums.

I think the new one is pretty dull and crappy

I still enjoy the new album immensely. While it doesn't have that melancholic feeling of "Icon" and "Draconian Times" it's still good stuff methinks

If you like Icon & Draconian Times, there is no way you will not like the new one. Just play it at least 5 to 10 times, I can't believe you will not like it. It's up there with Icon and Draconian Times i.m.o. and that says something...

It's a really great album imo, featuring some of the best songs of their repertoire like Requiem and Fallen Children!

some members seem to like a lot SOL.

I think it is their most catchiest album as well as their most commercial attempt.

the think that kind of annoys me is that they sound too much industrial. It's like rammstein trying to sound solemn.

that blond guy from katatonia who plays guitar was pissed off with that release. I wasn't a member back then (VE era), but there were some also pissed off PL fans that were pissed off because of a comment of that guy who was really pissed off by SOL. And indeed i consider it too as an attempt to sell out, altough i can't deny that the songs are super catchy.
