Got promos for the new Below, Steel Prophet and Darkest Era albums. All are sounding pretty rad on first listen. Man, Rick Mythiasin still got dem pipes. Wish he'd sing for Fates Warning or something. He was killer when I saw him with Agent Steel a few years back.

he has such a strong voice. Not a big fan of Steel Prophet. Surprised he doesn't get more offers to sing in other bands...who knows..maybe he does.

So, can Twilight Force be considered "retro metal?"

Check out their Metal Archive page. One of the guys dresses as a ninja with elf ears. Also, even though the band's Swedish, they use Italian names like Roberto. That's really funny!

    Never heard this one before.
    this is certainly NOT Spellbound!!!!

It is tho very solid heavier classic rock.

I like this era stuff more than the early era stuff actually. The Cage, Burning in the Shade, and The Wreck-Age are great albums....just a lot more commercial.

If I saw em for a decent price I would pick up any Tygers actually.
A band I need to add more of their stuff to the collection for sure.
