LOL! I just got my stimulus check too... but it went to paying off the rest of my medical bill for the surgery. Point of Entry is one of those Judas Priest albums that fans either love or hate. I love it, in fact, it has my favorite Judas Priest song on it - Desert Plains. The same goes for Toto's Turn Back, it is probably the bands least popular album (next to Isolation) that didn't spawn any top 20 hits, but still has some great songs on it like the title track, Gift with a Golden Gun and Live for Today.

Amorphis - Silent Waters Anvil - This is Thirteen Biomechanical - Cannibalised Borknagar - Origin Brainstorm - Downburst Firewind - The Premonition Flotsam & Jetsam - No Place for Disgrace Forever in Terror - Restless in the Tides Gamma Ray - Land of the Free II Hittman - s/t I - Between Two Worlds Jaded Heart - Sinister Mind Leverage - Blind Fire Mercenary - Architecture of Lies Pagans Mind - Gods Equation (2 disc ltd ed) Saint Deamon - In the Shadows Lost From the Brave Sinner - Touch of Sin

Hey, Dustin! I believe I gave you guff about it when I visited, but I have to do it again: Enya? Boo-urns! This coming from the guy who sings Rick Astley at karaoke! Just wait until you see what I have up my sleeve for this year's ProgPower! Stay metal. Never rust. Albert
okay...okay.... but you've seen the wall of albums in my basement, and I'm sure if you looked closely through all of them, that Enya album wouldn't be the worst embarassment I have in there. Indeed!!! I'm was actually thinking of doing one this year... possibly somthing by Tears for Fears or Toto (with David Paich singing) since that's in my range. But now that I know that Paul has been filming these? .... I doubt I'll have the brass to do it now.
Hey, if *I* can do Iron Maiden and sound like ass, YOU can do a karaoke tune, Dustin! Also, don't let Al give you any guff. He just doesn't have the cultured ear to appreciate Enya's sweet, siren song.

HAMMERFALL!? :Smug: wouldn't they be considered the Kmart version of Helloween? ...actually, They were the first new-wave-of-euro-power-metal I heard back in 97'. Their first two albums are absolutle classics! back then, there was not a lot of metal bands that had actual "Singers" in them that you could walk into an FYE or Media Play and buy off the self, so it was a breath of fresh air when they came out.... and a decade latter, look what happend as a result - there are 1,000 of bands liek his now!
Don't make me hurt you, nerdface! Soooo, I KNOW you got some new hauls, Dustin. I was there when you did! POST THEM! Mine are: the first two After Forever albums Supreme Majesty's first album the new Blackmore's Night and Freak Kitchen - The Spanking Hour Win.

EXCELLENT choice! I'll have to tell Theresa that someone at the Kat-V forums bought that album. Though I think they have a decent ammount of fans in Greece. So what do you think of it?
I have listened to the CD only twice (I got it from the mail just two days ago) and I put it for the third time when I read your post. The album is good, I like very much the epic song "Constantinople 1453" which has greek traditional instruments on it and the band shows that has talent. I want to listen to the album more, to express a more fair opinion. As for the fan base here, I also think the same with you although I don't know exact numbers. As you know the main members of the band are Greeks.
It's been a while since I have posted a haul list, and it's been dead around here for a while, so I thought I'd post what i"ve collect in the alst 5 to 6 months... I've bought so many damn CD's over the last few months, I haven't had a chance to listen to all of them. Thus, I have had to break them down into small groups every few week so that I could digest each album properly. I still have about 50 or so CD's to still get to on top of the ones listed here. Nice choices, Dustin! The latest haul of mine: Tyrant (UK) - The Days At The Farm - The Tyrant Anthology Oblivion Knight - s/t (reissue of their two fantastic demos) Syrus - s/t (reissue of their two demos, too)
Holy shit. (New guy, not familiar with Katagory V as of now, sorry). I LOVE THAT ALBUM! I never expected to see someone posting it in a haul-thread... Awesome (even though I'm quoting something posted over a year ago) !
LOL! no problem! ...the only real reason I even heard about that band, was through our good friend Mr. Luna, who is also a HUGE FM fan. I think it started with me finding a copy of A.S.A.P.'s album (which also has members of FM in it) and I totally loved it! ...and Mr. Luna told me that if I liked A.S.A.P, I should check out FM, which was along the same AOR style that I fancy so much. I love Indescreet, as well as the self-titled album, in fact I think they are both very underated albums and absolute AOR classics. I'm still trying to track down their other albums, but they seem to either be very hard to find, or VERY expensive to aquire.
