Lmao I wish.
Nah I meant one of my two ex-girlfriends.
Separately dated girlfriends.
Whatever... (I should be heading to the drunk posting thread )
There are multiple reasons for not smoking and quiting was the hardest thing I ever did. It becomes such a nervous habit, even after the nic addition has left your body you find yourself with an arm/hand taping your shirt pocket and needing something to do. I however enjoyed them from the start and needed to hate them before I could quit, but I dont have a weak stomach. Some people have different flavors for stuff. Myself the taste of beer always turned me off and still does today, unless its very hot outside and I've worked hard and the beer is ice cold, but even then, excluding the buzz I'd rather guzzle milk. So booze never took a big hold on me when younger and Im glad of it. Today a few times a week I enjoy a few vodka health drinks to ease out of the day but you need to watch your ass with that stuff as well, I learned this summer that it can grab ahold of you all to easily.
Coffee took along time for me to like, it was just a thing with people I worked with, so everyone had a coffee during coffee break, but its not needed. Caffine is bullshit, I can still fall asleep with coffee in my hands... lol. A splash of water to the face will wake anyone up faster than even a full pot of coffee will.
Yes, my mother-in-law is on her third attempt to quit smoking. This time, it's a "must do" due to the operation she just had to get rid of a bunch of plaque in arteries in her leg/hip.
But, I would recommend a nice Arrogant Bastard for your "win" over smoking. Get it to about 45-50°F, and you'll find yourself liking beer a whole lot more.
Never smoked, never will! Hate the smell of it.
I've been drinking Arrogant Bastards lately...going to pick up a few on my way home tonight...delicious brew! That and a few Ruinations...Stone is just a great brewery!
Tomorrow I'm gonna buy some of these
Pretty much the best beer produced in Sweden
On the east coast, I also highly recommend Bell's Two-Hearted Ale, anything from Victory, and Stone.
i dated a girl who smoked. After being "intimate" she would go out my window to the roof and smoke a cigarrette. even if it was freezing. being a romantic i hated it! i wanted to cuddle and kiss, and it made it really unpleasant.
i don't know whether or not pot is less attractive. they are both lady ruiners for me. i hate seeing a cute girl and then noticing the cig in her hand. I immediately count her out.
4 Arrogant Bastards and 2 Ruinations...gonna work out and then indulge in one...which actually equals two.
enjoying the last of my second health drink, thanks but no thanks on the beer, I work out at work
Man, am I the only one here who isn't at all bothered by smoking?
I fucking love this place.
I don't choose to smoke but I don't give a damn if people around me do.
And this is the most ridiculous smiley ever: :Smokin: wtf?
some people have finicky issues
Nah, just bored.
The only girl I ever knew well who smoked pot listened to Caravan, Gong, The Soft Machine and Hatfield and the North. That's badass in my book. Ahhh... The memories of being stoned and listening to In the Land of Grey and Pink...
I just despise the smell of cigarette smoke on people's breath and could probably never date a woman who smoked. Although, at this point I think that's being a little too picky.
I have a moderate close family member
Smoking really bothers me too...I don't think it would be a total deal-breaker in a relationship if it was the only thing working against her, but it would be a definite turn-off and she definitely wouldn't be smoking in my car/home.
