Killing Peace is an awesome album

Saw them last night with Obituary and they sounded awesome live too (nice one James ;)

Anyone know what amp/s were used on this album?

    +1

I really like Killing Peace, curious as to what the guitars are too.

I love every thrash album Andy seems to do, I really think he gets the best out of the bands (Exodus, Testament etc).

They use ENGL poweramps with PODXT's live which sounds very much like the albums tone. Interested to hear more details on this album, esp since im appearing on a tribute album and want to get a similar mix!

just noticed that andy did this album. great job!

i saw them live a few weeks ago and they're a great live band (and nice guys) too.

indeed pod xt pro's through engl poweramps. ts-808 boost up front, peavey 5150 model on the xt's. shitloads of gain btw. very similar to the album sound though.

Every ONSLAUGHT's albums are incredible pieces of thrash metal.
Killing Piece and the Sound of Violence are my favorit Andy's productions. Heavy as Hell and absolutely not artificial. Sweating.

I was listening to killing peace yesterday ohhh what a beautiful mix. That guitar tone is something I would like to achieve one day.

Hehe, I did not know. Thanks for the notice. Terrific tone, but the mastering compression is a bit overkill (without bad play on words) on this one. The mix sounded sneapy to my ears, though.
