    I would have to say Orchid. I don't know why but that album has a really special place in my heart

    From what i've heard Morningrise.....Nectar is my favorite song. The bass is so good on that. But as Mikael has stated, the production does suck. But with my Earphones it sounds good.

    Orchid. Production is better and all the songs are amazing. Some of the songs on Morningrise get hopelessly tangled up and lost in themselves.

    One thing about early Opeth that was great was the fact that they didn't repeat riffs at all. It kept things from becoming repetitive and you never knew where the song would go.

    I just gave Morningrise a listen again and was floored....amazing..the bass guitar is fucking spectacular

    speaking about morningrise,check out how mikaels name is spelled in several places in the booklet,it´s spelled åkerfeldr,does anyone know whats up with that?

    I believe that's called a typo. Notice how "r" is next to "t". :rolleyes:

    I just listened Morningrise too. Yesterday Orchid. I thought that they would sound (production wise) shitty, but they didn't! I even switched off the lights and listened in all dark room, so epic!

    About fuckups in sleeves. In Morningrise their bassist is called DeFaralla and drummer Nordm.

    yeah i´ve also noticed that the songs are misspelled,the night and the silenced gun-black hoe´s immortal-to cap you..farewell,and so on :rolleyes:
