hello guys, this is like the first time in ages i post something! I felt encouraged to post this time since i just applied some cute acoustic treatment to my control room, and man it feels so so good now! So, i listened to this song i'm producing (for my band's next EP) which i mixed like a month ago. First thing i noticed, it was so thin and OHs where so buried, guitars where so opaque. (makes sense for my untreated room) I took 10mins to make a few adjustments, and to feel it's 'all right'. This is pretty much a scratch tracking; Boogie at practice volume and just my guitars here, will reamp. Piano content as a guide for the girl that sings 0.48 - 1.02. It'd be nice to hear your comments about the current balance of the mix, and hear your suggestions in order to get a hefty/solid material! Used EL8 to process drum tracks and bass, which is recorded through Avalon U5.
