Yeah...they don't have any records left in them. I liked Illud, but it didn't have the spirit of their other albums. They kicked ass when I saw them live, but I don't expect them to tour time and time again, playing the same songs. Pete was a fucking alcoholic crack head.

Hasn't Tim Yeung been their drummer for a while now? He recorded for... that album... and there's been videos of him on SickDrummer playing at their concerts. When was Pete back?

He was replacing Pete because of his back surgery. He played on the album and for touring, but he was never a legitimate "member" of the band.
Edit: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Morbid_Angel/68 Encyclopaedia Metallum lists Tim as a live musician and Pete as a member of the band, which he apparently is not.

Morbid Angel released a few good songs across Covenant and Formulas, but the most part I wouldn't mind if they had disbanded after Blessed, so...this news means literally nothing.

Tim Yeung is a solid drummer. And if you do not like 'Illud Divinum Insanus' don't listen to it.

I like everything through Domination, but I wouldn't care if they disbanded. I didn't like their last album.

I think their classic albums are enough to keep them remembered. All that they're going to put out is more of that Death Metal/Industrial combination.
