Any opinions, advice or tips here on the Pentax K30?
I recently picked one up at a great price to give to the missus in Feb for our 3 years, as I know she's been wanting to get a DSLR and dabble in some amature photography for a while. It may also end up in my hands quite often

So I took about 1300 photos on 70000 Tons of Metal.

Definitely gonna look at 'properly' editing my photos, having my own website, etc.

The fact that bands like Leaves' Eyes and Gloryhammer have taken some of my photos and used them on their official facebook pages, I take as a good sign that I'm off to a good start :)

Started to upload the better photos I got onto Flickr.

It was great to be able to take the Digital SLR to gigs on 70k without fear of having it confiscated :D

    GLORYHAMMER!!!!

I did a little bit of editing, and put galleries up on flickr of my better shots from 70000 Tons of Metal this year:

    Day 1 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/7283364@N04/sets/72157640657118815/ (Atrocity, Symphony X, Gloryhammer, Xandria)
Day 2 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/7283364@N04/sets/72157640659210345/ (Bonfire, Leaves' Eyes, Dark Tranquillity, Haggard)
Day 3 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/7283364@N04/sets/72157640664533344/ (Gloryhammer, Haggard, Orphaned Land)
Day 4 - http://www.flickr.com/photos/7283364@N04/sets/72157640662671675/ (Keep of Kalessin, Izegrim, Victory, Xandria, Symphony X, Freedom Call)

Next year will be interesting - bigger ship (twice as big in size), 3000 tickets instead of 2000, 60 bands instead of 40.

Won't be going unless I come into some serious $$$$$$ though - most likely scenario for me is that I'll be back in 2016 :)
