I like plenty of proggy stuff.

The new Textures is amazing, so is the new Canvas Solaris (at times). For progressive rock stuff, I like Ozric Tentacles, Tool, some Dredg, Kansas, etc. I also have been digging Persefone's new album and Koyaanisqatsy's album lately.

My favorite Prog band lately would have to be The Tangent. I also listen to older Prog such as Rush, Genesis, Journey, Floyd, etc. Some modern stuff I enjoy is Tool, Riverside, and I think Porcupine Tree are pretty decent band.

I like progressive metal that is well-balanced and does not come off as pretentious.

Opeth were great a few years back.

    These days?

    Mar De Grises >> Opeth.
    Avantgarde >> progressive.

They were good, but in my opinion, they've gotten better.

    I like Porcupine Tree.

That Riverside band sounds really unoriginal. It's a total ripoff of mid-era Anathema.

Love progressive music (of various sorts). As for Porcupine Tree and Riverside, they're great.

Lately I've mostly been into the more avant-garde side of prog though.

Prog metal is my primary genre. I like almost all of them:
    Dream Theater
    Anathema
    Symphony X
    Indukti
    Deadsoul Tribe
    etc etc..
though Porcupine Tree is not metal IMO...
More Psychedelic Space Rock/ Art Rock. They never seem to stick to a particular genre, like Rush.
I also love classic progressive music:
    Yes
    Genesis
    King Crimson
    Camel
    Jethro Tull
    etc etc...
