Ok, anyone here into the slower, Burzum-esque, type of Black Metal should definately come along to this gig to check out Pestilential Shadows.

    Message from Rev. Kriss Hades:

"I wont be playing at no sign of light. I will be there however with a stall and metal banners and artwork. Over the last few months several diferent promoters have been advetising me as playing without asking. (Blood Records, Stigmata, South Beat Ent., Asphixiate Records, and was also advertised for the Hobbs Amenta Behemoth show)
No sign of light announced on their flyer without talking to me personally, just second hand info. I wasnt going to play that at all unless they released my latest cd. Otherwise I was intending to look for bands for my next "NECROKULT" festival. The Gaelic Theatre did the same thing but as a headlinner. I find out about these through people who tell me about the ads. At the time of the Gaelic I didnt even have a guitar and had hoked all my effects, equip. in December. I had to borrow $3000 to get it all happening within a week plus the ad in Drum.
I am put in a possition to protect my name and not to dissapoint people who travel across the country to see me or not go to a show that I am playing to go to one that is false advetising. I have spoken to people who this has happened to and it really makes me angry.
There were only 200 people (not 30) but it was a success as far as I proved that I can make things happen. There are people who think they can get away with using my name to get more people or whatever they think it is. I will make every one pay for these actions."

But anyway... I've made some cryptic mentions in the past about there being more all ages gigs in Sydney. Well here you go people...

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

The line-up is mixed genre (part of a deal we struck with the station). But if this one goes well, there will be another show very soon with an all metal line-up.

So for everyone here who complains about there never being any all-ages shows in Sydney, here's your chance! We won't be able to do any more if we can't prove to the station there is a market for it. This goes for bands as well, any future success is dependent on you guys making yourself available for these shows!

This is just the start... we have some big plans and because of our position within the radio station (hosts of the highest rating show and both sitting on the Promotions committee) we can push for some big things this year.

We will be interviewing the bands in the upcoming weeks on the several hardcore/metal shows on the station, so keep an ear out for that as well!

It's about a 1 minute walk from Blacktown station!

A flyer was made and will be in local stores (the usual suspects like cd shops and music stores). As I mentioned before, I couldn't put the flyer on here because it's a document file. I may try and find a server to host it and I can link for anyone who wants a copy

EDIT: Here ya go! (before anyone bitches about the quality, I didn't make it haha)
