I'm looking for some black metal similar to the first 3 Bathory albums. Any suggestions?

Listen to Mayhem. If you already do, listen to more Mayhem, because I said so.

(eagerly awaits GoD's "Kultimate BM GrymLyst"...)

De Mysteriis is the ONLY Mayhem studio album that doesn't blow. And besides, they are nothing like old Bathory.

There are two things wrong with this...

    #1 WRONG.

    #2 WRONG.

    #3 WRONG.

    But OK, whatever.

Most of the 2nd wave BM bands have a lot in common with Bathory, Mayhem especially.

Can't get any more Bathory than these two. Two Bathory clone bands that actually can pull it off well. Especially Morrigan.

I really just wanted an excuse to post "Kvltimate BM GrymLyst", which is what I've named your long BM band lists, which I was expecting to see one of.

    I'm dissapointed. :(

Actualy, the new Primordial has a fare share of Bathory-esque moments.

Yea its just hard to find bands like Bathory, theyr pretty unique so I just put down alot of early black metal bands that fans of Bathory would probably like
