What are so recordings that show each different amp's "sound"? ie. the "marshall" sound, the "fender" sound, the "vox" sound...

I know the marshall sound for sure, but what recordings highlight the classic fender sound? and classic vox? and even orange?

Vox-listen to some Queen, most of the time with a treble booster, but still, many indie bands use
fender and vox amps, but I can't recommend you something because I have no clue :D

Peavey 5150 sound: Machine Head or anything Melodic Swedish Death Metal
Mesa Boogie Rectifier: anything Nickelback (although I believe some of them have Peavey XXX they define the Rectifier sound to me)
Mesa Boogie Mark IV: anything Dream Theater

I assume you're referring to the Satch reference. The song, off of the studio album. The tone I dreamed of for ages as I was hating on the cookie-cutter 5150 tone, I learned recently was in fact, a 5150.

On top of that: Symphony X - Paradise Lost - ENGL SE
And a much better example of Randall SS heads: The RG150ES was used on many early Death albums, namely Human.

The Crown's Deathrace King to me is quintessential raw 5150 tone (to my ears). I like 5150 tones on other albums BETTER, but on this album, it just sounds like what mine did in the room when I played.
