You'd be hard pressed to find an amp that looks better than this being 18 years old :saint:

Amps: (the Savage is currently having some minor work done, my custom XTC is being built)

Cabinets: (5150 III cabinet should be here in two weeks)

On a better note, I promised you guys a comparison of every amp through every cabinet as soon as I have the time. It's going to be quite epic. I just need to record some br00tal DIs and get my family out of the house ;)

5150 III sounds NOTHING like 5150 I at similar knob positions. My latest reamp will show that :saint:

A friend of mine describes it like a mix between 5150 and 5150 II (in the lead channel), but I've never tried it

    Yeah, that's more accurate.
But if you think of what actually is inside of a 5150 mkI and then have a look at the inside of the dual recto with its 9999999999 functions, extra tubes, parallel FX chain and a zillion different settings, the dual recto is kinda small.
But the 5150 III is truly a beast.

Oh and lolzgreg, your refurbished 5150 is awesome! :headbang:

My girlfriend painted it for me in watercolor when she was bored. I decided to hang it up.

Honestly Jeff, I haven't even had time to look at them yet. Past week has been kicking my ass. I'll get down to it soon!
