Rickenbacker Fretless Bass

    I'm looking for a Rickenbacker 4001 or 4003 FL bass, preferably in walnut brown or autumnglo color, or even jetglo black maybe. Seems to be a rare bass these days. I don't know why Ric discontinued their wonderful fretless model. But if anyone sees one for sale or has one...please let me know!

    His name is Sylvain Paillé. He lives in Sorel (Quebec, Canada). As of may 12th he still has the bass. You should ask him some questions and some Hi-rez pictures.

    Keep a eye on the classifieds on talkbass, tons of rare basses come up on there and the prices are usually pretty reasonable.
    I had a few Rickys I sold last year, if you had wanted one to defret I would have sold you one dirt cheap.
