Maybe this doesn't deserve a thread, and even if it does, it probably belongs on the Old School forum, but I don't really care. I love Ritchie Blackmore and guitarists that play like him. Oddly enough, I hate Deep Purple, but I digress. Let's all swoon over the haunting guitar styling of Ritchie Blackmore:

    And his clone, Yngwie Malmsteen:

And the guy that kinda sounds like him, Alan Jones:

One of the greatest and most influential guitarists of all time ... and likewise, im not a fan of Deep Purple either.

solo around 3:20 through 6:05 is sex to my ears.

I'm so glad you posted "The Crowman," because that playing style is total Blackmore. I've always thought that song sounded like an awesome mix of Jethro Tull with Blackmore on guitar, haha.

I'm not a huge fan of the Blackmore's Night project, but some of the stuff he plays is gorgeous:

My wife LOVES Blackmore's Night, but as always, his soloing is amazing. The fact that Ritchie and his wife play most of the instruments is impressive.
