    Here, I "mastered" this version...

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/rrixcv

I think some parts on the drums don't sound right after 2:30+

I probably squashed things too much but I can't listen too loud at this hour of the night.

The tracks have a lot of potential, but the general lack of punch is not something that can be fixed in the mastering stage (well, of course, you can work it out, but remixing sounds like a much better idea). You could try posting individual tracks, many folks here work for a few coins and the results can be much better of those you'll get by just posting a mixed version. If you are interested in a pro level mix, send me a pm.

How about mixing the song first, guys?
No offence - very little can be done to this song.
Not trying to be an ass, just being helpful.

I suggest that you guys upload the multitracks here and ask someone to mix it for you.

Here's my version (from your latest mix):

I made sure to keep the dynamics intact, but make it nice and punchy at the same time. Getting the vocals and guitars to sit in the right place was also important and a bit challenging with this mix; happy with how this came out. Cool song!

hey guy thanks for the good work.. i'll listen your files more in details in a few... i also want my studio guy to listen to them as well...

I would love to post the seperate tracks but i don't have them... and I'm not sure Bart would like to do that. Although it would be very interesting to hear what other ppl can do.

Oh and please make sure u used the updated mix.. I modified the first post of the thread anyway...

Here's my rendition, using your most up to date mix:

    www.transcendingmusicstudios.com/decadawn_TMS_Master.wav

Wanted to bring the guitars out a little; get a little 3-d, they were sort of buried in there. Wanted to get the string attack out. And, overall I was aiming for a more organic, warmer sound but plenty loud enough. I didn't want to crush it.

This was dithered again to 16-bit...
