He's all over Twitter posting clips of him showing the world "for the first time in history" how to play Anthrax riffs while making crazy faces. Then he's saying he's about to unveil his new thrash band with drummer Deen Castronovo who he calls one of the greatest drummers in the world. I don't even know who that guy is. I can't help but be curious as to how truly awful this project is going to be, anyone heard any more details?

Heard about it, don't know anything.

He should have just stayed in Anthrax.

Is that for true? Great drummer, known mostly for his time in Journey. Most in here would know him for his time in G/Z/R. Hes's also worked with Cacophony, Bad English, Social Distirtion, Fear Factory among others.

Place your bets on if it last longer than Red Lamb or that thing he was doing with the female vocalist, or the thing with the weird slide guitar

Deen Castronovo also played on Ozzy's Ozzmosis album.

I guess they're both really religious and are doing it for God or something. Whatever floats your boat.

Sure haven't, I checked his Wikipedia though and he's played with a bunch of bands that I've never been into so that's why. I watched some video of him playing though and the guy is definitely a bad ass.

I'm going to say this - I think Dan Spitz is a complete fuckwit.

I absolutely used to love him back in the day - he was my fave band member growing up, and I still think the guy is an awesome lead player, but the guy has to be the most arrogant and delusional has-been to walk the planet. He carries on like he's a complete metal legend despite doing next to nothing of note in the scene for 20 years, and his recent videos posted showing the "first time IN HISTORY I show you how to play this and that Anthrax riff/lead" are just the biggest self-indulgent wank embarrassment online.

The guy is clearly one sheep short in the paddock. He seems to forget he's the one who pretty much walked away from Anthrax 2 decades ago, and now he looks like a desperate God bothering infant dog scratching at the door trying to get back into the scene now with his new band and posting photos with bands like Testament and Sepultura online everywhere. Having just looked at http://danspitz.com/, I'm not sure there's many more arrogant people around than "The worlds only Master Watchmaker of Complications Specialist & Multiple Grammy nominated musician walking our planet."

Will be interesting to see if this new band lasts 5 and a half minutes longer than his last couple of world-stopping turds like Red Lamb or his slide guitar extravaganza. Oh, and whatever happened to Voices of Extreme, the other band he supposedly joined recently?

Not trying to sound like a dick when I say this, but I don't give a fuck about what anyone does outside of Anthrax.

Never paid attention to any comic books, coffee tours, or anything of that nature. If it gets in the way of their touring and recording then it is a hindrance and needs to be done away with.

He forgot wife choker in his list of credentials. Seriously that website has some indulgent crap lol
I don't mind that he's listing his credentials, he should. But the way he's done it comes off as extremely arrogant...and childish
    I wouldn't mind a custom watch though.
