    Hey All,

Haven't been on here for some time, apologies for that!

I wanted to make sure that this post featured separately. I have received a lot of positive feedback on it, and wanted to make sure it was visible here as a separate thread, as it was stuck in a thread as a reply instead.

Enjoy! And if I hear from enough of you, I'll be back around here from time to time!

The latest installment of FORBIDDEN guitarist Steve Smyth’s column is now up at GuitarWorld.com. In it, Smyth discusses favorite solos (“Gigs Eviction” by Vicious Rumors, “Cuts Like A Knife” by Bryan Adams, and “S.A.T.O. (Sailing Across The Ocean)” by Ozzy and Randy Rhoads) and the phrasing behind them.
