A young, kickass guy named Rolf Pilve!

Looks and sounds like a perfect fit for the band. So excited to hear what he brings on the next album! :headbang:

"We have a new dummmeeerrr!!" :D

I saw Jörg Michael's farewell drum solo last December. Good drummer but this guy also looks top of his class. So encouraging to see how excited this lineup is now, brilliant news for generating new material which I hope is out sooooon!

Stratovarius's current lineup has SUCH gifted musicians, it pains me to see them (seemingly) overlooked so often, by so many people. Jens is amazing with his jazz background, Lauri's an amazing songwriter, Matias is just on another level... I don't know how they're going to top Elysium. The title track is one of the best songs I've ever heard. I wish I could write music like the last few minutes of that -- good GOD!

Sounds great. Good on them for getting a Finnish guy, too. Having a band member in another country can be very limiting to the rehearsal/playing "machine".

Jörg Michael was always going to be tough to replace but this guy looks promising, and I agree... good on them for getting a local guy!
