In this age of talentless clone bands and vocal garbage devoid of any value, it is refreshing to hear guys who can play and sing.

    Symphony X FTW!

Symphony X is one of the tightest live bands I've ever seen. New song sounds great.

...and Bogren did a great job, too!

--> +1, saw them with Nevermore in Hamburg.

It boggles the mind how Romeo's sausage fingers can move that fast and play that fluid and clean. Amazing playing though. This sounds like it's headed to be better than their last album imo.

Great stuff. Prompted me to pre-order the Deluxe Edition of 'Iconoclast' on Amazon.

I'm not too fan of this band but I like this song, love the cheesiness too :). I might give it a try when it's out.

EDIT : holy sh*t, this solo is so "liquid", and good vibrato included, Love it.

Good stuff, the last 3 Symphony X albums were great. Good to hear they have kept up the quality.

Can't wait for this album. Paradise Lost was soo good. Hopefully this one will be just as good, or better.

I've always been a big fan of this band, but I'm glad to finally hear a guitar tone from Michael that doesn't make me cringe a little. Hell yeah!!!

I love Symphony X but I'm sure I've heard all of these riffs before hahaha, song rules regardless.

Allen's voice is the only one within this genre I can withstand tbh. His and Tom Englund's. Crazy talented, the lot of'em!

My thoughts exactly. The songs are good but they sound like b-sides of the "Paradise Lost" sessions.
