Has there been any word on this since that initial news blurb on the official site?
It sounds Great!
I'm KILLING for this!!! Man, if they're not gonna do it they shouldn't have even mentioned it in the first place. Still Life in 5.1 would be absolutely phenomenal!
my fave album ever on 5.1.
If they do, I hope it's a DVD-A and not an SACD.
I'm not even sure why i asked, since my high-fidelity setup is a stereo pair of monitors, and not a 5.1 system, haha.
Maybe I'll fork out an extra few hundred and get 3 more monitors and hook em up in surround.
I think Still Life in 5.1 would be a phenomenal thing if done right.
yeah still life in 5.1 would be killer, or any album for that matter.
Cool thing, as long as they don't put a hyperactive kid behind the buttons. This way someone managed to ruin the 5.1 remix of tubular bells, the instruments move along the speakers as if the technician was a bit spastic while controlling the panning, pretty anoying.
While they're putting in into 5.1 format, they could fix some of the production too .
You aren't Trey Parker.
And if you were, you'd be shitting on your own balls.
just bought a copy on ebay, an hr ago, for significantly cheaper than store price.
