On this blog you can follow where the band goes and what they do, most likely it will not be any K-18 stuff, so anyone can check it out. First report from Adelaide is online with pics.

More to come from Australia, Japan, Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Finland, Hungary, Mexico, Usa & Canada in due date.

I woke up Friday morning thinking all Melbourne shows for The Eternal were cursed with rain, our last home show had seen some of the heaviest rainfall Melbourne had seen in a long time so I was prepared, but by the afternoon everything had cleared up and I was personally feeling quite good about the show. We loaded in around 7, said our hello’s to the other bands and Terry led the way to a fine eatery in North Melbourne. After a nice meal we made our way back to the venue, I received several text messages saying there had been an earthquake in Melbourne! The first one since 1973 or something like that. We had been lucky enough to not feel it but many had, so the rain may have stopped but natural disaster was still attempting to stop this show!

    *Major update*

    Evoken
    Isole
    The Eternal
    Officium Triste
    Dandelion Wine
    Marche Funebre

This playing order might still be subject to slight changes and adjustments in the next few days. Though Evoken will remain headliner and the other bands probably won't move more than one place.

So, the gig in the St-Gummarus Chapel in Herenthout, and the gig in the Frontline in Gent that same day/evening are now merged, for as far as it was/is possible. We, the organisers of both events, managed to agree to let as many bands possible play in the Chapel in Herenthout. This is better for everyone we believe, though sadly it was/is not possible to let all the bands that were planned for the show in Gent play at the chapel. It was just a little too much... Some of the others might be considered for a next time though. Besides that unfortunate fact, the bands who are playing, will have a unique setting! Not to be missed if you're interested in at least one of the bands, even if you're already seeing them somewhere else. There's always that extra element that will make it worthwhile to come and see them again!

Flyer with all other details coming up this week. Entrance will be around € 15 (or not much less anyway, with so many bands). But prices for drinks will remain the same as last time (€ 1,5).

A bit to eat will most likely be available again in some way or form too, so no need to eat at home first! :) And thus, that's also no excuse for not showing up in time for the first band! Stay tuned and spread the word!

    Statement from The Eternal

Greeting from Helsinki Finland! We are currently 21 dates into our 'Kartika' world tour. So far we have had a fantastic time, but not everything can go as planned and due to reasons out of our control, guitar player Terry Vainoras departed the tour in Jyvaskyla, Finland on the 15th of April. We will complete all remaining dates as a three piece, so far we have done Firebox Metal festival in Seinojoki, Finland with this format and the show went off without a hitch! So as usual all engines are full steam ahead in The Eternal camp and we look forward to seeing you on the rest of tour. Thanks to those that have supported us through this, it just aint rock n' roll without some drama!

    Cheers

    Mark, Dave & Marty
