I was also going to ask about Skyrim but then I realized that no one would notice because everyone's playing it :I I've never played a single Elder Scroll's game, in fact I've never played any western RPGs but this one looks pretty nice so I've considered of buying it. Too bad I have a shitty computer so I have to deal with PS3 version ;___;
I started playing Skyrim as soon as it was unlocked in Steam. Also played Daggerfall and Morrowind before it to get me in the mood; awesome weekend. Seems like everyone is playing Skyrim now, even those who've never even heard about TES before. Pretty weird, considering MW3 was just released.
Yeah, I was completely surprised when I heard there were more people playing Skyrim simultaneously on Steam than Modern Warfare 3.
I hate you, I pre-ordered mine but amazon didn't even ship it yet But I don't have an adequate tv yet, so well. Doesn't really matter.
^This Also I remembered that Skyward Sword is probably going to disappoint me harder than twilight princess did. That makes me feel better.
Closing in on about 80 hours and just started the main quest line. Tried Oblivion a while back but just couldn't for the life of me get into it, stupid level scaling system. Got Skyrim, and I am just.. Wow.. This game is pure win. FULL LEGENDARY DAEDRIC ARMOR + 2HWEP BECAUSE ANYTHING ELSE IS FOR BABBIES
Oblivion took me months and months to get to lvl 22, which was kinda high. This the fast leveling goes to 50 I'm told and then it slows down to a crawl. http://www.skyrimnexus.com/includes...www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=123 This mod instantly improves performance by quite the bit. I went from shitty ugly low settings to tolerable medium. Soon to be high quality when I get my shit together and go buy my video card and TV. Good place for mods, generally all of them end up there, elder scrolls and fallout.
The game is cool and all that, but it's glitchy as FUCK it's a well known fact that beTESTA studios release their games unfinished and then fans rush to make mods to improve them. Something that should be done when the game is released.
