They did one for each fucking character? That's awesome.
Definitely legit. Whenever one of these smaller companies licenses a movie its one of the ways they can push the product (besides for new scans/transfers of the films). They try to appeal to the collector with interviews, special features, new/alternate art etc. Especially if the movie has already previous releases.
Taxi Driver/Deadpool parody poster:
here are a few off the top of my head...
yeah i have a few movies that have an alternate cover on the backside. Band of the Hand has it, but it also didn't have a pop up menu and no chapter select or anything, very barebones. Fuckin' Mill Creek.
Brawl in Cell Block 99:
Django/The Hateful Eight:
Wish I liked this movie more than I do, visually it's pretty amazing.
How about DVD covers? Sometimes they'd have made better posters than the actual posters out there:
Last one for the night
Yeah I mentioned cover art in the OP, definitely post that kind of stuff too.
I always loved the poster for The Thin Blue Line. Makes it look like a thriller, although the movie's a documentary.
Haven't seen this movie yet, but the poster really speaks to me.
As you can tell form my first post, i'm a sucker for posters with bad ass cars and vehicular destruction.
... the legendary .475 Wildey Magnum
the alternate cover for the upcoming Maximum Overdrive BR is pretty cool too..
Here's the cover for the Predator steelbook that came out a few months ago. Not really a fan of this kind of artwork but some of you might dig it.
A few shots I took of Kirk Hammet's collection. Sorry for the reflections on some of these, the lighting wasn't great for photos:
@TechnicalBarbarity that Chopping Mall poster is fucking epic.
