I'm listening to Gold Cobra at home and it sounds amazing on my bass-light monitors, however it's atrocious on the bass-heavy 2.1 system. I haven't checked it at the studio yet.

It's really interesting how listening to Gold Cobra on the aforementioned monitors makes CLA mixes seem like crap in comparison, yet on the 2.1 it's just a complete mess and I can't stand listening to it.

With that said, I think that snare is awesome and the kick and bass sound super-thick on the home monitors.

best song so far, but they ruined it with the autotune.
Its not extreme enough to be "cool" and its to noticable to be natural ?!?!?!

    WTF

The autotune thing was to make fun of it. The track before has the interlude that has Fred messing with it and saying they should make a song called autotunage.

Context is great. You're welcome =)

Mix sounds pretty awesome. I don't like Fred Durst but the bouncing breasts made the song worth sitting through.

I wouldn't change a single thing about the mix. It's supposed to be bass heavy so that juggalos can watch the dope red lights of the sick Legacy system they had their pot dealer install in their mom's Honda Civic.

always liked LB, incredible musicians (with the exception of durst and dj lethal).

even john otto's playing and drum sound are worth it alone. not listened to the new songs yet though.

Always loved the band. Great musicians, great energy and I even love Fred's voice. I wish his lyrics weren't as immature as they are of course but I've always loved the dudes voice.

Hopefully it has nothing to do with a chocolate starfish. Actually just checked urban dictionary... both gold cobra and golden cobra are there but both are from yesterday so someone is probably trolling ;)

If you put a talented singer/frontman instead of Durst in there you've got yourself an awesome band. But as it is, it just plain fucking sucks with that whiny little wannabe gangster bastard.

Drum sound isn't bad, guitars are nowhere near as big as they have been. Lyrics are atrocious!!!
