Watched Coffee and Cigarettes. Way more entertaining than expected, not that I'd really contemplated what to expect in advance. Every segment had something funny in it. Jack/Meg White was a bit dumb but Alfred Molina/Steve Coogan was particularly hilarious.

Age of Apocalypse was the weakest X-Men film imo. Really enjoyed Logan ....
a very nice way to close out his story. Professor X wasnt in the Old Man Logan comic book but i like how they integrated him into the story here... but man the way they killed him off was just brutal ... "Hey Logan, this was the most perfect day of my life" ....SNIKT!
And a quick question for the movie aficionados here ... what was the name of the western that Laura and Prof X were watching on TV??

My Star Wars marathon starts today...

Finally saw Downfall, and it was as good as everybody made it out to be.

This scene sums up the film quite well for me. After being utterly defeated and committing suicide, Hitler's remaining war cabinet salutes his roasting remains, the man who wanted to be great ordering the burning of his own corpse out of fear of his remains being preserved and displayed in a museum somewhere. The sheer lunacy and irony of it all is depicted here perfectly I think.

It is, and I normally like Taika Waititi's sense of humour.

What We Do in the Shadows was cool, but I don't find him to be particularly funny. The rumours that he's directing a live action Akira film horrify me.
