it IS nice when a band provides that type of service (i.e. Live album/DVD between albums when it is a long time or a sample song)...

No, I read peoples' posts, until they don't say anything of interest to me for an extended period of time.

Gigantour 2005: Symphony X toured and two live tracks got their place on the Gigantour DVD and CD.

Russell Allen released his solo album 'Atomic Soul' as well as an album with Jorn Lande - 'The Battle'.

Michael Pinella released his solo album 'Enter By The Twelfth Gate' in 2004.

does that count as something between albums to 'tide us over'? ;)

not really...I have Ulcerative Colitis, which is the lesser form of Crohn's, so I know a taste of what he went through...luckily, I found a supplemental remedy for it...

In any event, I wish him the best of recoveries, but he is not quite the main songwriter, to be honest...Romeo and Pinella are...

Lepond still makes quite a contribution if the album sleeve song credits of the last two albums are anything to go by...

And i believe his bass recordings were directly effected by this, as they had to be pushed back while he went through treatment.

Haven't read much of this thread/discussion and it's probably been said, but...

Symphony X owe me nothing. I owe them a lot. Everything they release is like a gift to me - not a product that I'm supplied with out of obligation.

    But that's just me.

Sorry, but I'm with A-Guardian X...It's kind of unprofessional to not keep the fans in informed under these unique circumstances, in this the internet age.........
