I'm just pretty much going to combine my favourites from no country's and Slayed Necros' lists because I find them most agreeable and I'm lazy.

    The Chasm
    At the Gates
    Morbid Angel
    Candlemass
    Saint Vitus
    Solitude Aeturnus
    Fates Warning
    Manilla Road
    Burzum
    Sacramentum

I wanted to include Venom but I dunno who to take out so I'm leaving it like this.

wow, are you guys really going to get AtG in this early? Didnt now one good album can land you on a hall of fame list, let alone this early. Only in the crazy ultimate metal lala-land. Lol, what a joke.

this has clearly turned into a "my favorite bands" list, not a hall of fame one.

Considering that Gardens of Grief, The Red in the Sky is Ours and half of With Fear... make up some of my favourite death metal of all time, yes I am.

I see your point here with Sacramentum, I'm not sure I should include them myself because I only really love the EP and FAftS. Every other band I listed though has a pretty lengthy discography full of great albums.

It would be very different for me too if I only picked favorites.
