Vanishing Point release first new music in 7 years with single “Dead Elysium”

"...More than six years since the release of “Distant Is The Sun”, Vanishing Point are once again ready to take on the world with their world-class melodic metal assault on the senses.

Set for release on August 28 via Octane Records, their sixth full-length album “Dead Elysium” is a revisit to the epic and bombastic sounds of soaring vocals, heavy guitars and mesmerizing orchestral elements. A return to form for Australia’s most iconic melodic metal band!

The first single from Dead Elysium is the album’s title track. Listen here and watch the video below...."

Big fan of the band here, going way back. This is just okay. Not bad, but not blowing me away. Hoping for more connection with the forthcoming releases.

Love the new album, but then I love them all. This one continues where the previous one left off, with aggressive (sometimes little thrashy) riffs. But paired a bit more symphonic keyboards. Well done.
