This is a comeback from an old NWOBHM called Weapon. Anyway like may of their contemporaries they've got back together and had another go for old time's sake. It doesn't always work but thankfully it worked a treat on this album. They are aiming at the more commercial end of the classic metal spectrum on occasion which suits me perfectly as I always seek poppier vocal melodies or hooks rather than pure heaviness or power. There's two songs on youtube reflecting either side of the band. First is my fave so called weaker side and then the heavy side. The song Wonderland is just an awesome tune for me with wonderfully catchy chorus. The second song is a darker affair altogether with harder guitars and deeper subject matter of course but still a cool tune. The singer has an a clear melodic voice with a nice mid range tone. He actually reminds me of John Wetton of Asia fame.
