    Watershed hands down, if we put aside that vague thing "feeling", Mikael is at the peak of his performance. (speaking technically yeah)

    Ghost Reveries edges out Watershed.

    (I prefer deep growling over the higher-pitched growls of the earlier albums)

    My Arms Your Hearse.

    I read once that when recording that album, Mike had a throat infection or something of the sort and in my opinion it seems to surprisingly have a really positive effect on his voice. His growls have something of a powerful raw intensity and the clean vocals have quite a nasal sound to them which seems to work well and adds something emotionally.

    Deliverance. Towards the end in Wreath, during the second "Calling me back" to his last growl thing he does is what makes it one of my favorites already. Fuckin' badass!

    Although Dirge For November, I think, has his most sinister vocal performance. I'm talking about the intro. :p Nah, it's hard to pick, but Deliverance is my favorite album, so I went with that over Blackwater Park.
