Dunno if this goes here, but...
I picked up In The Arms Of Devastation, and I love it. Not life changing, but incredibly solid death/thrash/whatever. Great vocals and grooves. I want to get some more of their stuff. What should I get?

If you like their latest then I highly suggest Shadows and Dust.

Indeed, I agree with Ozzman; the best bet with Kataklysm is to start new and work back. You will be less disappointed with their mediocrity that way, until you make your way back to their first album and EP and realize that they ruled once. Heh.

Well, I need to follow my own advice. The only Kataklysm albums I have are In The Arms.. and Serenity in Fire but I like them and plan on delving deeper into their back catalog eventually.

Shadows and Dust and Epic for sure. After that I kinda lost interest. Not saying the newer stuff is bad, I just kinda "grew apart" from Kataklysm :p

I got into Kataklysm after I saw them with Dimmu Borgir
and all I can say is the same as V.V.V.V.V said...
Shadows and dust if you like the new stuff, work your way back, and you'll find the older stuff kicks ass...

I agree with this but I still like their new stuff, mediocrity and all. I can't explain it

For Kataklysm I pretty much only like their old stuff:

    Sorcery
    Mystical Gate of reincarnation

the rest I get tired after a spin...

it's like old school mid-tempo death metal with groove and some fast parts.

it's quite basic but it's awesome, the vocals were killer back then.

Hmm, sounds interesting. I always wanted to get Temple of Knowledge just for the cool name/album cover.
