I picked up FUTURE HOPES recently. I think it's a good album.
More so than their previous albums, this one has a Pink Floyd feel instrumentally.

What do you think of Future Hopes?

I think its a very different sound for the band. Venke's vocals are lighter, more ethereal than Sylvia. The overall production is more epic is scale yet somehow very organic. Keyboard sounds are very different than in the past - still vintage gear but you aren't slammed with Hammond organ.

Every White Willow album has its own character. Jacob keeps evolving. Its been 6 years since the last one so a change is expected.
