What is your favourite Eq Plugin (from waves or something..) for filtering Guitars instead of cubase channel eq? Something that works more musical in cutting lows and highs..

Equality. It's the only EQ I use unless I'm specifically looking for something with character (AKA top end boosts).

I use fabfilter Pro-Q as I enjoy it's workflow the most, pretty much anything will do though.

I'm really liking Izotope Alloy for EQ, among other things.

Pro Tools eq7. I really need to demo equality though, compare it to my trusty stock Pro Tools eq. I've heard too many good things about it.

For cuts and small boosts pretty much any standard eq works, I am particular to ddmf iieq pro but I could easily live without it.

For more extreme stuff I have been loving ignite amps pultec eq. Pretty heavy on cpu but it's free and sounds awesome to my ears.

I've been using this for a while, handy eq I must say! Loving it so far. :)

Other eqs that often end in my inserts are:
    RubberFilter
    BootEQ
    BaxterEQ
    The stock StudioEQ in Cubase

    Clean and surgical: waves q10
    Vibey boosts: waves API

Haven't tried equality, is there an rats version?

    K, found it.
Don't really wanna spend that much on an EQ atm though, I have no complaints about the waves q10.
    What does equality better?
